17^th January 2009 Second Anniversary celebrations of SVU –“Deep 2009”

Cultural Activities : Dances, Skits, Fashion Show, Mimicry Academic activities: Quiz

contest, Debate, Extempore Speech Misc: Rangoli and Mehndi Competitions

Sports: Inter collegiate tournament : December 2008-- Jan 2009 Tournament in

the following events was organized Cricket, Volleyball for both boys, girls and the

staff. All the 6 constituent colleges  of the university participated in the tournament.

Achivement in Cricket : Our university cricket team won the championship 3

times in a row from 2007 to 2009 in the intercollegiate tournament conducted by

Baroda Medical college - Vibrant 2009

15^th August 2009 : Inependence Day Dhwaj Vandan, Address by chief guest, Tree

plantation and sweet distribution to the patients and staff

5^th September 2009 : Teachers Day celebrations: K. M. Shah Dental College and

 Hospital Teachers selected by the students on voting were honoured

7^th September to 13^th September 2009 : S.B.K.S. Medical Institute and Research

 Centre- “ Cyclone 2009” Anniversary celebrations Environment day: Tree Plantation

Singing Competitions, Antakshari, Situation skit, Personality contest, Rangoli

competition, Cultural Evening, DJ night

Sports : Volleyball, Badminton, Table tennis, Carrom, Chess tournaments

were conducted and tug of war was organized

29 th September to 3^rd October 2009 : Sumandeep College of Nursing Cultural 

activities, Singing Competitions, Antakshari

were conducted and track events were organized

6^th October 2009 : Sharad Purnima, Garba Mahotsav : SV The staff and students

of Sumandeep Parivar celebrated Sharad Purnima by organizing Garba Mahotsav in

the campus

9^th November 2009 to 14^th November 2009 : Pharmacy College Anniversary
